October brought a decrease in transactions in the Forgotten Coast residential real estate market but an increase in high sales price and average sales price in most key communities. There were 28 single family homes closing and 43 pending or contingent properties. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of closings for the month followed by St. George Island. The highest priced property to sell during October was a custom-built Gulf front property in the Cape San Blas.
