Waterfront Beach House on Florida’s 30A – Coastal Living

New construction on Florida’s sun-soaked Highway 30A offers room for the whole family, stunning Gulf views, and more—step inside!

Clear water, white sand beaches, and warm weather year-round make the stretch of Florida Panhandle coast known as 30A a prime coastal destination. The communities along Scenic Highway 30A offer excellent food, unique shopping, and endless activities, too, and now you can have your own chunk of 30A with this family home, newly constructed and currently on the market.

Technically in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, this stately beachfront home is in the WaterColor community, right on the Seaside border and a short bike ride or walk from the many activities in Seaside and WaterColor. It’s also waterfront, with wide-open views of the sparkling Gulf. The house even has a fourth-floor cupola and deck with panoramic views of the Gulf and the town just so the lucky owners won’t miss a thing.

In fact, the whole house is set up with the view in mind. A reverse floor plan puts the main living space—living room, kitchen, dining room—on the third floor, so the beautiful vista outside can be seen from the most-used rooms. These central living spaces share an open-concept floor plan, with both a formal dining space and a tucked-away breakfast nook in the kitchen. The kitchen boasts white cabinetry with a contrasting island, and shiplap walls give the entire living space a comfortable coastal aesthetic. A palette of light, bright colors, including blues, earthy tones, and whites, throughout the house reflects the sunlight coming in through the many windows and gives the whole space an airy, open feel. It was designed by Paige Sumblin Schnell of Tracery Interiors, a member of the Coastal Living Designer Network who’s known for creating serene, sophisticated spaces against the backdrop of Florida’s emerald Gulf.

With five bedrooms, including a cozy bunkroom, and five bathrooms, this WaterColor home certainly has space (4,478 square feet of space, to be exact) to fit a crowd, but direct access to the Gulf means spending time outside, either on the beach or in the property’s many outdoor living spaces, is a must. Other highlights of this 30A retreat include an elevator for easily accessing the raised main floor, a saltwater swimming pool, oak floors, and a BBQ pit. Scroll on for a photo tour:

This newly constructed beachfront property is listed by Hunter Harman of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida for just under $4.995 million.
